Pickens View Perch is located high in the mountains and is accessed by a paved asphalt road. As you approach the cabin, the road becomes steep and winding, with narrow sections and one-lane stretches. Pull-off areas are available where needed, and the road is regularly traveled by cars, SUVs, and trucks.
For first-time guests, we strongly recommend arriving during daylight hours. Daytime arrival makes it much easier to navigate the mountain roads and enjoy the scenic drive to the cabin.
