This cabin is ideal for a couple's retreat, family getaway, or friends who are looking for a Smoky Mountain escape. Stay with us to experience the charm and scenery of the mountains. Our 1940s farmhouse was totally renovated last year and has a bathroom with a large rainhead shower. The kitchen was remodeled with new appliances as well as a new instant water heater and new HVAC. The farmhouse has 100-year-old recycled beams and floors. Newly remodeled 2 bedrooms with queen beds. Office with a fold-out couch. Eat-in kitchen with all new appliances. Double oven range, vintage refrigerator, dishwasher. Patio dining with outdoor grill and griddle. The gathering space features a chiminea with a pizza oven. Across the street is a two-acre play and picnic area bordered by a small creek. We also have another VRBO across the street, Coon Creek Too. VRBO#3312950. Although quiet and somewhat secluded, it is only a ten-minute drive to downtown Franklin on paved roads with easy year-round access. College sports in season at Western North Carolina University. Visit a culture, a place and a sovereign nation, The Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation. The area has 16 waterfalls to explore and photograph. Tons of local craft breweries and wineries to taste and compare.
