Hello! We are the Cramer Family & we are thrilled to have the opportunity to host you at Cloverfield in Southern Pines. We are a family of 4: Ben (dad), Lauren (mom), Duke (5) and Billie Jean (2). Cloverfield started as a pipe dream in 2018 when we moved to Southern Pines and found this hidden gem. The 1900s farmhouse and guest cottages had been completely abandoned for over 10 years when we saw the property and immediately fell in love with it. Everyone told us we were crazy, but we knew we could restore the property and bring the forgotten treasure back from the brink. We took a little over a year to work on it, day in and day out. But with a lot of hard work, determination and a few of Lauren's tears we restored this amazing property back to its original splendor!
You will immediately be immersed in the quiet sanctuary of your own pine-lined private drive. You’ve made it to your own 4 acre oak-shaded sanctuary and found this humble abode to be the perfect place for you and your family. All 4000 sq ft of The Ranch have been pain-stakingly restored and remodeled over the last 2 years so you are stepping into a brand new oasis! We have updated the floor plan to include 5 bedrooms, and 4 luxury bathrooms. The expansive living room opens up to the palatial dining room which is attached to the stocked and ready to go kitchen! There are a few bonus rooms which can also be used for sleeping when they aren’t being used for playtime, work, or studying. Several big screen smart TVs and sound systems have been installed throughout the house to accommodate your 21st century entertainment needs. There is a music nook available for use to any aspiring musical artists. And do not forget to whistle the evening away in the secluded yard laying about the hammock, picnicking in the shade of the magnolias, grilling on the lawn, or relaxing by the fire side. During the cooler months you are welcome to snuggle with a good book or a glass of wine and enjoy the warmth and ambiance of the wood burning stove. We are in the heart of horse and golf country with plenty of fun just a few miles away. This gorgeous home is centrally located just 3 Miles from downtown Southern Pines and 6 Miles from downtown Pinehurst. Within 10 minutes are numerous public parks, splash pads, miles of walking and biking trails, dozens of playgrounds, frisbee golf, tennis and basketball courts open and lit until midnight during the summer months. Your entire family will find something exciting for everyone of all ages. Be sure to stay Friday nights so you won’t miss free movie nights in the park, taco trucks at Southern Pines brewery, or live music at the downtown amphitheater. The home may be rented by the day, week or month fully furnished. All utilities are included in the pricing. You have the privacy and seclusion of your own driveway, front yard and space around your rental. We do allow pets, please discuss with Lauren before booking. We look forward to hosting you!
