This beautiful and unique one-story home features almost level entry with only 4 steps. Greeting you is a full length enclosed front porch where you can sit back, relax, and watch the cars and motorcycles drive by while enjoying the sights of Chimney Rock Village. Once inside the main living area you're surrounded by the warmth of solid pine tongue and groove walls and original double rock fireplace with new gas logs on one side and a wood stove on the other. Surrounding the main living room and additional den area are 4 bedrooms with one (1) King bed and (3) Queen beds. Three of the bedrooms have their own TV's. The home also has two (2) full bathrooms each with shower and tub.
The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal for the entire family including crockpot and plenty of cookware. Gather by the stove in the kitchen or use the gas grill outside. The dining room has ample seating for 6 to 8 people. Wait there's more! There's a sunroom overlooking the river with a large flat screen TV, perfect for watching the game, just reading a book, or taking a nap. Listening to the river is like having your own relaxing sound machine
Outdoor seating abounds across the full-length deck area. Did we mention it also has a 6-person HOT TUB overlooking the river! What better place to relax after a long day of hiking, sightseeing, or shopping? Ideally, you'll do absolutely nothing but sit back and relax with your favorite beverage watching the river roll by as the sun sets. *** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season.
