Rest and un-wind in our trig-level cabin. Blue Ridge Lodge is located in the gated community, Buck Mountain, Purlear, NC right off 421. Staying at Blue Ridge Lodge on Buck Mountain is like two vacations for the price of one. There is option to stay on the mountain and enjoy the amenities provided; or with a short drive to Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, Mt. Airy enjoy the tourist attractions.
While on Buck Mountain enjoy the catch and release pond and Fern Flats, a walking trail, behind the community center. In the center of out gated community is Staghorn Falls where everyone loves to go and take pictures. is No matter what the season, Blue Ridge Lodge is a perfect destination: escape to the cool mountain air in summer; enjoy the breathtaking fall foliage, take advantage of many different winter sports, or watch the mountains come alive in spring—whether hiking in the woods or relaxing on the deck.
Buck Mountain is centrally located between between Wilkesboro, Boone, and West Jefferson with a 20 minute drive each way. Buck Mountain is also about 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Blue Ridge Lodge is 2500 square feet of living space with 3 private bedrooms, 1 loft bedroom, and 3 1/3 baths. In main floor of the cabin is the kitchen, den, gas log fireplace, powder room, porch with gas fire pit, master bedroom and bath. The loft has a full size bed and private bathroom. The ground floor has two bedrooms with an adjoining bathroom with a shower. There is a family room downstairs that opens to the bottom porch with a charcoal grill and fire pit.
It is highly recommended 4-wheel drive December-February.
