Located less than 3 miles from Dupont State Forest and only 3.5 miles to Caesars Head State Park, this pet-friendly private treetop home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is ideal for adventureous guests who will enjoy the challege of hiking 85 steps to reach the destination. The driveway provides parking for 2 cars and guests have access to the locking shed at the bottom of the steps for storing bikes and other outdoor gear.
Once inside, Cardinal's Nest has everything needed for a 5-star stay. The comfortable but modern living room is home to a sofa, 2 arm chairs, an electric fireplace for cozying up, and a large smart TV for streaming. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops and has been thoughtfully stocked with the dishes and cookware needed to prepare meals for your group. Enjoy the treetop scenery from the dining area, complete with a table for 6!
The primary bedroom is complete with a queen-sized bed and a private ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and also a desk for the members of the group who need to get in some remote work or studying. A shared bathroom with a walk in shower is conveniently located near bedroom 3 where two sets of twin bunk beds in are perfect for the smallest guests in the Nest!
When guests are ready to unwind, the outdoor spaces at Cardinal's Nest are ideal. A large deck with seating and a gas grill are great for cook-out time. After dinner, gather around the fire pit for s'mores!
