Memorial day and Labor day weeks are 6 nights minimum please! This beautiful very private house is just off the main lake in a large cove within visible distance from Eaton Ferry bridge and shopping centers. It has one of the best views/locations on Lake Gaston! Bring your boat or jet ski and keep it in the double boat house with a large top sun deck. Being in the main cove has huge advantage over main lake - even when there is a lot of wind/chop on the main lake, it is very quiet in our cove. Also there is not much traffic, so you don't have to worry about someone running over your children when they swim off the dock.
The water at the end of the dock is 5-7 ft. deep, perfect for diving/swimming. There is also a community picnic area less than half a mile away with private boat ramp and sandy beach/grill area. For those who are attached to civilization/technology even on vacation, will be happy to know that there is fast WiFi internet and a smart TV. House has two kitchen/dining areas, one upstairs and one downstairs, perfect for multiple families. Most bedrooms have unobstructed views of the lake (no trees!). Backyard features nice flat grassy lot suitable for games/outdoor play (cornhole set is provided). There is also a stone fire pit ready for roasting marshmallows. Large gas grill on the deck makes cooking easier.
Kids will enjoy canoeing to a small island short distance from the dock, perfect for exploration/play time.
The house is conveniently located in a small cozy neighborhood only a short drive from I-85/I-95/US1 and US401. Also close to shopping and restaurants (approx 10 minutes). Two very nice restaurants on both sides of Eaton Ferry bridge overlooking the lake are accessible by boat/pontoon, and are only 7 minutes away!
Linens/towels are provided (included by default into total price). Three kayaks are available for use free of charge. You can also bring your well-behaved dogs with you (if you wish to bring more than 2 dogs, please contact the owner for approval first).
Early check in and late checkout options are also available at an additional cost, subject to availability (check with the owner).
