Come Experience the Magick at Understory Sanctuary! The outdoor adventurer’s paradise and yet a short 20 minute drive to Asheville for some great food and music. We are honored to be the caretakers of this little slice of Earth heaven and we are excited to be able to share it with other like-minded nature lovers. Stay and discover the beauty and intention the original builder and owner put in to this sacred space, with stone structures, seasonal gardens , gargoyles, and many fairy folk to meet.
The space
We have a unique 1st floor apartment in our space that gives excellent views of a magical grotto and gargoyles and access to the beautiful land that we get to care of. You may hear the apartment upstairs, or chanting and drums outside at sunset. Feel free to join us for a sunset drum and chant if you hear the drums.
