Summary: The house was very nice. Wasn't as clean as we would have liked. Dog hair even though it said was pet free place to stay. Overall, it was enjoyable. Would have like to had more chairs to sit in on the front porch. Had to bring ones from inside for all 4 of us to enjoy sitting out. None on the back deck either. The check in was a nightmare. We used the code for the palm read entry and it wouldn't let us in. We tried to contact the owner several times. No answer. It was hot and humid and we had unloaded our belongings and had to sit and wait for a very long time. The next door neighbor was so very nice and concerned that we couldn't get in nor contact the owner. She even tried with a number she had for the owner But no luck. The neighbor was finally able to remember that the owner had a key somewhere and she was able to get us in. We thought we would have to stay in a hotel. Something needs to be done about the lack of communication and being able to contact the owner. She finally called at 10 pm and asked if we got in the house. That was way too late to be asking. Thank you, dear kind neighbors. The owner reimbursed us $100, which was nice, but it was all traumatic. My adult son has MS and having to wait in the heat could have caused a relapse for him.
