The Waldhaus is a rugged mountain retreat located at the base of Craggy Gardens in the NC Blue Ridge mountains. It’s 60+ acre estate is surrounded on 3 sides by the Pisgah National Forest. A newly installed wrap around covered deck has now an incredible 180 degree outdoor space. The driveway is gravel and it’s a bit steep especially towards the top. You can park on the garage level, or drive all the way to the top level (it’s a bit narrow, and please don’t try to back up if you decide to park on the main level). There is plenty of turn around space up there.
In view of the Waldhaus is an artisanal Sawmill and a 1959 Vintage Camper.
There is private swimming holes in the creek, and upon request outdoor fire pits can be made available too.
Please know that my office, some storage for 4 more cabins and the laundry room is downstairs. I do need to use that at times during the day, - but your privacy is important to me and I try to schedule my work accordingly.
Further for long term guests (over 4 nights stay) the laundry room is available at no extra charge.
