1 Starry Night is a luxurious well-appointed custom built home located just 10-15 minutes to downtown West Jefferson in Ashe County in a gated community with all paved easy access. With over 4,600 square feet, there is enough room for the entire family in our 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home on 6 acres with spectacular mountain views! 1 Starry Night offers 3 private king size bedrooms with En Suite bathrooms, 2 queen size bedrooms, HOT TUB, fire pit, wood burning fireplace, Wi-Fi, gas grill, stunning views and small pond. We are sorry, but our home is not pet friendly. Maximum occupancy is 10 guests.
Main Level: You will be in awe when you enter 1 Starry Night with its beauty, décor and craftsmanship. The living room has seating around the massive stacked stone wood burning fireplace, flat screen HDTV, open floor plan, well stocked kitchen with granite counter tops, dining area and 2 bedrooms. The home also features a cathedral great room with an abundance of windows and natural light to enjoy the long range, layered views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The fully stocked kitchen has granite counter tops and comes with most amenities of home like a dishwasher, crock pot, Keurig maker along with a regular coffee maker, cookware, dinnerware and more. The dining table can easily seat 6 and there are additional seating at the kitchen island for 4 more guests.
The master bedroom on this floor boasts a king size comfy bed and an En Suite bathroom with a large walk-in tiled shower along with a flat screen TV.
There is a Jr. master bedroom is also on this floor with a king size bed and an En Suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination along with a flat screen TV.
Upper Level: There are 2 queen size private bedrooms with with a flat screen TV, a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo, and a large loft area with plenty of seating, board games and a flat screen TV.
Lower Level: The 5th bedroom is another Jr. master bedroom with a king size bed and an En Suite bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower along with a flat screen TV.
Outside: With 6 acres, there is plenty of room to explore and roam (no designated hiking trails). There is a pond with a bench to sit and relax and take in Mother Nature. After a long day of hiking, exploring or shopping, take a dip in our private and soothing 6 person hot tub with beautiful mountain views. You can also enjoy roasting marshmallows, hot dogs or sit around our fire pit and tell stories and make memories that will last a life time.
1 Starry Night is conveniently located just less than 15 minutes to downtown West Jefferson where you’ll enjoy great restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. West Jefferson is a quaint small town with modern conveniences. Once you visit our cabin and town, you’ll be sure to visit time after time!
1 Starry Night is the perfect way to spend quality time with the family. For the outdoor lovers, enjoy the nearby state parks, canoeing such as Riverside Canoe & Tube Rentals and Zaloo's Canoes, or hiking at one of the many trails in Ashe County. 2 night minimum for off peak seasons
3 night minimum for most holidays and the entire month of October
4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday
7 night minimum for the July 4th and Christmas/New Year holidays
Check in time is 4:00 pm or after and check out time is 10:00 am.
1 Starry Night is a smoke free home! No smoking allowed inside.
***Occupancy Note:
Maximum occupancy of 10 individuals and no more than 5 vehicles must be strictly adhered to at all times. This includes registered guests in addition to temporary guests at any given time. No weddings or events are allowed in the home or on the grounds. If anything resembling an event is to take place, permission must be granted by owners in advance.
Minimum age to make a reservation is 25 years old. No underage alcohol consumption, illicit drugs, or house parties. Any criminal violation(s) will be immediate removal from the residence.
****Important Notes:
-This cabin is accessed by a long steep paved roadway in the gated community. We Highly recommend a front wheel drive vehicle or 4WD/AWD for our cabin. Tire chains and 4WD/AWD may be necessary during the winter months.
-The owners use outdoor surveillance cameras to ensure that their home remains safe. No cameras monitor the inside rooms of the home.
-There is no land-line phone in this cabin. Cell phone coverage is not guaranteed. The home does have WIFI so you may be able to call using WIFI calling.
As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
