Our cottage is only a minute’s walk to Buxton's iconic Beach District where you will find several excellent restaurants, Hatteras Lighthouse & National Park, fishing & tackle shops, eclectic local shops, convenience stores, ice cream & mini-golf.
The area is safe, quiet, and is excellent for those looking for a retreat, with the fun and adventure Cape Hatteras offers only steps away!

Summary: The house was nice and had everything we needed. While it showed some use, and we needed to purchase trash baags and some other things, it was a good deal and a great location. We had perfect weather until the last copld of days when the beach disappeared because of the approaching front.
