Welcome to Carolina Wildwood, a newly remodeled duplex style home in a residential area only minutes to some of Asheville’s finest restaurants, hiking, & breweries. This listing is for the 1 bedroom spacious studio downstairs that comfortably sleeps 5. Message us for the full house listing that sleeps 12, or upstairs listing that sleeps 7. Carolina Wildwood is only 20 minutes to downtown Asheville, Hendersonville, & Brevard so adventure is right around the corner in every direction. There is 1 master bedroom with the most luxurious king bed. You will love the custom tile work in the 2 bathrooms. There is a foosball table, air hockey table, board games, and a large TV. There is no kitchen in this space, but we do have a mini fridge, coffee pot, and microwave.

Because the upstairs is also a rental, there could be a little noise if there are guests staying upstairs.
ACCESSIBILITY: The downstairs is accessible with 36” doorways into the house, into the bedroom, and into one bathroom. Not officially ADA, but wide doorways and a table downstairs that could be used for dining. Can provide for specific measurement of shower or other passageways if accessibility is a concern.

This house is very centrally located. It is in a residential neighborhood that is great for walks! The neighborhood is close to some of the area's best restaurants, breweries, hiking, and more! The airport and interstate are both nearby. However, noise really won't be a concern and you definitely can't see the interstate from the house.
We have smart locks on the property. For privacy, each guest gets a new code that is only active during the duration of the trip.
Carolina Wildwood is incredibly versatile. It is the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking or visiting Asheville’s most popular attractions like the Biltmore Estate.
With super-fast internet and convenient access to town, Carolina Wildwood is great whether you want to work or relax. You can have a glass of wine while you enjoy some take out and & watch your favorite show on DirecTV stream. Or you can have a game night using our wide selection of card & board games like Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, or a family classic Monopoly. Or you can even have a foosball or air hockey tournament.
BEDROOM – Downstairs master bedroom with attached bathroom. Features a luxurious king bed, a walk-in closet, and a small desk. There is also a crib, pack & play, and cot in the walk-in closet that can be moved throughout the house as needed.
ADDITIONAL SLEEPING AREAS – The downstairs living room has a day bed with a roll out trundle bed. These two twin size beds offer far more comfort than a pull-out couch. The downstairs master also had a rollaway cot in the closet that can be moved as needed. There is a guest bathroom downstairs with a shower to accommodate for people staying on day bed, trundle, or cot.
LIVING ROOM – There is a game table with plenty of board games and puzzles. The Air hockey table and foosball table will provide hours of fun for your group.
KIDS – This is a great place for kids, especially older kids. However, if you have crawling babies or small toddlers, be aware that the stairs could be difficult to keep them off of as there is not a good way to block off the stairs.
PARKING: There is driveway parking available.
CLEANING: Sparkling Clean! Carolina Wildwood is thoroughly cleaned between guests before each check-in.
KITCHEN: There is no kitchen. There is a minifridge, coffee pot, and microwave.
OTHER INFO: Complimentary toiletries, hair dryers in every bathroom, enough toilet paper & paper towels for a few days, first aid kit, games, books, and more.
OTHER: There are additional amenities to make your stay enjoyable. There are a few hiking backpacks available. We have trail maps & local guide books for hiking, mountain biking, or sight-seeing. We have a bike rack available so you have a safe place to keep your mountain bikes or road bikes safe.
From SC area, take 26 West towards Asheville. Take Exit 40 and turn left onto Airport Road (NC-280 W). Go 0.7 miles and turn left onto Fanning Bridge Road. Go 0.5 miles and turn right onto Wildwood Circle. 0.1 miles to house on right.
From Asheville area, take 26 E towards SC. Take Exit 40 and turn right onto Airport Road (NC-280 W). Go 0.6 miles and turn left onto Fanning Bridge Road. Go 0.5 miles and turn right onto Wildwood Circle. 0.1 miles to house on right.
