Kingfisher, centrally located between Blowing Rock and Boone, is convenient to many High Country attractions, including Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Hawksnest, Moses Cone Estate Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The great room boasts soaring, vaulted tongue-and-groove pine ceilings, wood floors, an HDTV, and an impressive stone wood-burning fireplace. Dining is open to the great room and kitchen, seating six guests comfortably. The kitchen is well-equipped and features granite countertops and stainless appliances. The main level master suite offers a custom log king-sized bed, an HDTV, and private access to the deck. The ensuite master bathroom features a double vanity, jacuzzi tub, and a tiled walk-in shower.
Upstairs is the loft area overlooking the great room and the dining room. The loft offers a second 4-seat table for extra dining space or puzzles, games, chess, or checkers. There is also a fun tee-pee for the children.
