****4 Daughters has 2 levels of comfortable living, beautiful views and a HOT TUB. Zero steps on main level with 2 bedrooms(K,K) and 2 bathrooms, the kitchen, dining room, living room all on this level. Full wrap around deck with amazing views, outdoor seating and small firepit to create ambiance on those winter nights. The wood burning fireplace in the living room is the ultimate mountain necessity and wood can be purchased from local grocery stores. Pets are allowed for $50 per pet. Dogs only, Limit 2.
Lower level has a living room, one full bath, and one bedroom with 2 sets of twin bunks and one bedroom with a Queen. There is a special Harry Potter themed nook under the stairs and a foosball table. There is also a walk out deck on this level with a dining area and the HOT TUB!
This house has flat screen TV’s in both living rooms and in all three bedrooms. Dish TV as well as fiber optic high speed internet available for guests to use. A selection of movies and games are also available for guest use.
This house has views from every level and if you listen quietly, you will hear the rushing creek below called Laurel Creek. This is house is very private and very easy to access in all seasons. You will only need 4wd if we have a major winter storm so check that forecast before you arrive! Ski resorts are about 45 mins away (30 miles).
House Amenities
Linens are provided along with one full roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towel in the kitchen. A small starter packet of laundry pods, dishwasher pods, hand soap, dish soap, sponge and some misc. The kitchen is heavily stocked with everything you need to feed a large group including all your silverware, dishes, cutting boards, pots and pans, knives, cookie sheets, measuring cups and spoons, can opener, strainer, crock pot, blender, mixer, mixing bowls, casserole dishes, full size fridge with ice maker. Gas stove and dishwasher along with plenty of counterspace for all your cooking needs. Both a drip coffee maker and Keurig are provided. Propane grill.
The Neighborhood - Powder Horn Mountain - Deep Gap, NC
Renters have access to the outdoor community pool during the summer months as well as miles of hiking trails, community clubhouse, fitness center, tennis court, campground, horseshoe pit, fishing, paddle boating, and more. The gated community of about 250 single family homes is a great getaway, located just a few hours from Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Raleigh. Cell phone signal is descent especially if you have Verizon but wifi calling is available. (check the settings on your phone) This house is the absolute getaway. Pets are ALLOWED for $50 per pet for the stay. Limited to no more than 4 and dogs only. You must make note of the fur babies when you make your reservation. 4 Daughters is about 20 minutes to Boone, 45 mins to Banner Elk and Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. This is the perfect place to stay while going out to enjoy High County festivals, Fly Fishing, the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Appalachian Trail, various wineries, breweries, and some App State Football! Shopping and local restaurants galore! 45 minutes to ski resorts.
